The use of natural products for medicinal purposes has been used for many centuries. Green alternatives to extractions have been a huge topic of discussion in the past decade and are generally preferred to be used in chemistry today. In this study, we determine the most efficient and effective method to perform green extraction on Psidium guajava (Guava) leaves and determine its antioxidant content from the extracted compounds. Furthermore, future evaluations and experiments of P. guajava leaf extracts are proposed to determine the various bioactive compounds that are present in the samples extracted.
