Abstract
Technology is changing the today’s world. With the advancement of that technology, a large number of machines and devices have been introduced to facilitate the daily activities of human beings. It has been possible to reduce human time and labor. Automotive technology is also a technology used to save man time and labor. It has made it possible for many people to carry out their daily activities with ease. With the advancement of this automotive technology, there are a lot of good and bad consequences that man has to face. Every year a large number of people die in road accidents and suffer from permanent injuries. Nowadays, it has become a huge problem. Necessary measures are being taken to prevent accidents but no one has paid attention to the action to be taken after the accident. It is very important if there is a methodology to know the location of the accident and other information in a short time after an accident. Then the persons responsible can go to the scene of the accident in a short time and manage the disaster situation. The main objective of this project is to identify an accident after an accident and send the location and other information to the nearest rescue team. The project uses an impact sensor to detect Accident. A GPS module is used to obtain information about the location of the accident. All that information is sent via SMS to the relevant sections through a GSM source. The SMS is forwarded to the specialized software installed in the relevant sections and the location and other details of the accident are displayed on the software interface. The relevant sections can then use that information to reach the scene of the accident. It will be able to manage the disaster situation in the event of an accident and save a large number of lives.
