Synthesis of Sn-based composites as anodes materials for lithium-ion batteries
Abstract
Novel Sn-based materials in which Sn nanoparticles dispersed well on the substrates such as carbon, graphitic carbon nitride were successfully synthesized via a facile chemical reduction method and used as anodes materials for lithium-ion batteries. The unique structure of these materials achieves benefits from an exceptional stability since it can be stored in open air without undergoing any decomposition. Additionally, these composites exhibit an excellent cyclic performance, which may be due to the significant contribution of the carbon and g-C3N4 support in preventing volume change during lithiation/delithiation process of tin.
