Abstract

Introduction:A holistic rigorous curriculum is a strong foundation for a high school education to prosper. However, abalance of science subjects combines with Arts and Business builds the pillars for students who constructtheir careers in STEM or healthcare. A good multidisciplinary mix of knowledge of a variety of subjectsbroadens the perspectives of the mind and carves out the paths of learning in the 21st century.

How can we plan and direct paths?We need to understand that students choose their careers based on aptitudes, passions, and aspirationsof success. In the past, students were cajoled into choosing their career paths. However, in this century,"Gen Z'S" are born into the progression of the Tech revolution, and their brains are wired in ways that they see their future selves as beings with an all-round dimension to take on the world.

What are we doing right?

The freedom of choice and the agency given to learners have opened up the dark holes of unknownconcepts and ideas which they explore. We, as educators, are focusing on skills.

The 4 C S –

1. Critical thinking

 

2. Creativity

3. Collaboration

4. Communication

Studying the Arts helps students understand the realms of creativity, and they can design, innovate, anddevelop this creative skill which manifests itself in creations, machines, or products that help humanity'swell-being. Problem-solving comes naturally to Scientists, the power of logical reasoning by discursiveand argumentative methods helps the speed of problem-solving. Design thinking and solutions toproblems are fueled by collaborative ideas that make dreams a reality. The nuances of languages helpeffective communication.

How can we enhance the impact?

Multidisciplinary links help the creative ways in which the Arts and Sciences flourish—broadening thecurricula and accommodating a balance of Art and Sciences.

Conclusion:

Currently, we need knowledgeable education to promote students' passion for learning and retain vitalinformation to apply appropriately for global welfare. The current work focuses on improving students'skills and technological aptitude.
